📱 Permissions We Use

BachaLo requests certain permissions to provide emergency assistance and safety features.

Used to:

• Obtain your current location during emergencies.
• Share location information with trusted contacts.
• Provide background location updates when emergency mode is active.

📩 SMS Permissions

• SEND_SMS
• RECEIVE_SMS
• READ_SMS

Used to:

• Send emergency alerts to trusted contacts.
• Receive emergency-related SMS commands.
• Support SOS communication features.

👥 Contacts Permission

• READ_CONTACTS

Used to allow users to select trusted emergency contacts directly from their device.

📞 Phone & Call Information

Used only for emergency-related features when enabled by the user.

🎤 Microphone Permission

• RECORD_AUDIO

Used to detect emergency voice trigger commands such as:

• "Help"
• "Save Me"
• "Bachao"
• User-defined custom emergency keywords

Users may optionally create custom emergency keywords. These keywords are stored locally on the user's device and are used only for emergency voice detection features. Custom keywords are not uploaded, shared, or used for advertising purposes.

Used to display emergency alerts, service status updates, and safety notifications.

BachaLo uses the above permissions only to provide emergency assistance and safety-related features.

We Do Not:

• Sell personal information.
• Rent personal information.
• Share personal information with advertisers.
• Create marketing profiles.
• Upload personal information to our own servers for advertising purposes.

Most emergency-related information is processed locally on the user's device.

Data Collection

We do not sell or store personal data. Most processing occurs locally on the device.

📋 Call Log Permission

• READ_CALL_LOG

Used only for emergency-related functionality when enabled by the user. Call log information is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing purposes.

♿ Accessibility Service

BachaLo may use Android Accessibility Service features to support emergency assistance functions requested by the user.

Accessibility access is used solely for safety-related actions, emergency automation features, and user-requested emergency functionality.

Accessibility data is not collected, sold, stored on external servers, or used for advertising purposes.

Accessibility Service is used exclusively for safety and emergency-related functionality requested by the user. It is not used to collect personal information, monitor user activity for advertising, or share data with third parties.

🛡️ Device Administrator Access

BachaLo may request Device Administrator privileges only for emergency protection features enabled by the user.

Device Administrator access is used solely to enhance safety features and prevent unauthorized interruption of emergency protection services.

Users can disable Device Administrator access at any time through Android device settings.

About BachaLo

BachaLo is a personal safety and emergency assistance application designed to help users communicate emergency information with trusted contacts.

BachaLo is not a replacement for police, ambulance, medical, fire, or other emergency services.

SMS Commands

Trusted contacts may use the following commands:

• Hi, Hello – Requests the user's current location and emergency information.
• Stop – Stops automatic location updates previously initiated through the App.

Only trusted contacts configured by the user can use these commands.

User Responsibilities

• Selecting trusted contacts appropriately.
• Ensuring emergency contacts are aware they have been designated as trusted contacts.
• Using the App lawfully and responsibly.
• Maintaining accurate emergency contact information.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable functionality but do not guarantee:

• Continuous service availability
• Successful SMS delivery
• Continuous GPS availability
• Accurate location information
• Uninterrupted network connectivity

Functionality may depend on device settings, permissions, mobile networks, and third-party services.

Emergency Disclaimer

BachaLo is intended only as an assistance tool. The App should never be relied upon as the sole means of obtaining emergency assistance. In situations involving immediate danger, users should immediately contact official emergency services.

Limitation of Liability

• Delayed or failed emergency messages
• Network-related issues
• Device malfunctions
• Inaccurate location information
• Any damages resulting from misuse of the App
